Your 2020 in Perspective

It’s easy to default into pronouncing 2020 as the worst year ever. And for some people the pandemic made it truly a very rough time, losing loved ones, jobs, homes, businesses, and more. For many though, 2020 was hard, but not bad. For some, it was even a great year, and that’s okay too.

The pain and hardship of the pandemic is what it is. Suffering though is not required. If nothing else, 2020 gave us perspective, reminding us of our place in the greater scheme of life, the impermanence of things, and of who and what we really care about. Call it Vision 2020.

Five Amare Questions to Put YOUR 2020 in Perspective

  1. What was the best thing that happened in 2020 for you personally?

2. What was the best work/business thing that happened to you in 2020?

3. What’s one big way you put Amare (energy that uplifts and connects) to work in your organization in 2020?

4. What’s one lesson you learned about the power of love in business in 2020?

5. What’s one thing that gives you hope for a better 2021?

My personal 2020 highlight was renewing a relationship with one of my kids. In business, it was witnessing incredible growth in the people I’m coaching. My big Amare action was writing this newsletter every week. The one lesson was having trust in things unfolding; which is what gives me great hope for an even better 2021.
